Hello R -- The first time we went to the beach, they wouldn't take "no" for an answer, in Spanish, English, or whatever other language. The second time they knew that we were on to their tricks and they didn't bother us at all. People should be aware of the "free trial massage" trick and just tell the massage ladies to take a hike. (Don't even tell them you may want a massage later, because they won't go away, they will start their "trial" trick instead.)

Don't make such a big deal of it. Just simply say "No Thank You" in Spanish. They will go on to the next person. You are on their turf so roll with it, they are doing business to try & make a living.
